Shimano recently launched its new chatbot on its social media site Facebook. Now, all Facebook users familiar with our products have easy access to our events, technical documentation, products as well as the dealers that are located in your vicinity. With a 24 hour assistant ready to communicate with you, users can now rest assured that all queries will be answered.

How to use the QR Code

  1. Log into Facebook Messenger

  2. Tap on your Facebook Profile Picture at the top of your mobile screen

  3. Tap once more on your Facebook Profile Picture in the middle of the screen

  4. Select "Scan Code" and allow Camera access to your phone

  5. Scan the circular QR Code


This chatbot includes the following features:

  1. Dealer Locator: A simple map that allows users to pinpoint our authorised dealer shop locations closest to them. Filtering by product types allow users to peruse the shops that offers the products they want.

  2. Product Recommender: This feature aims to educate beginner cyclists on our products as well as to highlight the best product to buy for their given lifestyle.

  3. Product Finder: Now experienced cyclists looking for our products can search by keying in the product they want. Users can also share the products that they found via Facebook with their friends.

  4. Events: Bike maintenance courses and Bike Cruises organised by Shimano Cycling World can now be viewed from the comforts of your mobile phone, along with future events that Shimano might be participating in.

  5. Technical Documents: An added feature based on user demand, this technical document feature addresses queries faced by experienced riders on component compatibility, replacement parts, and our warranty policies.
